Spring 2025: Spring Ephemerals & More!

Sat. April 5- Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Walk, Sligo Creek

FREE, but Pre-registration required.

Hosted by Friends of Sligo Creek (FOSC)
Saturday, April 5, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm-ish
We’ll be participating in a Spring Ephemeral Walk hosted by Friends of Sligo Creek (FOSC), and if you’re in the area, we’d love for you to join us! We’ll explore beautiful early spring wildflowers like Solomon’s Plume, Cut-leaved Toothwort, Yellow Trout Lily, Bloodroot, Spring Beauty, and more—plus, we’ll keep an eye out for any surprises. If you have binoculars, feel free to bring them, as some flowers (especially on trees) may be farther away.

Please sign up here by Thursday, April 3, and come out to enjoy the beauty of Sligo Creek with us!

For more information, visit the FOSC website.

Meet at the FOSC kiosk at Sligo Creek Parkway at Kennebec St.

Led by: Naturalists Michael Wilpers, Kit Gage, and (our own) Mimi Abdu.
